Zen 4

A full view of the world renowned garden at Ryoan-ji, a Zen Buddhist temple in Kyoto, Japan. I have two other images of this garden which can be found deeper in my gallery. One of the few temples in Kyoto that, despite seeing a heavy amount of traffic, is still VERY quiet and peaceful. Everyone sort of understands it's like a library. You don't talk loudly or disrupt those around you. It's a wonderful place to just sit and relax for a few minutes, especially if you're on a hectic tourist schedule.
